The success (of the the Festival) is a grand example of amateurs becoming experts through sheer, bloody-minded enthusiasm"   The Charlbury Chronicle

The Festival

The 2010 Beer Festival promises a great "two-in-one" experience: The traditional noon start with 48 beers, ciders, wines, Pimms, soft drinks and delicious food incl. vegetarian. Plus great music and an atmosphere to match.

And then, just as you thought it couldn't get any better, we roll out the evening entertainment with new bands, more beer and an evening menu catering for all ages.

Great experience, small footprint: Meats, incl. our special Festival sausage, are locally sourced, ciders include Charlbury Sharecroppers' Prime, wines the local Bridewell organic white. Gone are the noisy diesel generators, new the compostable tableware. Male visitors will appreciate the greener, more attractive gents.

We are about to finalize a deal with the Met Office for glorious sunshine on the day while maintaining ample marquee cover in case you prefer a bit of shade

(Expect the following………)

48 outstanding real alesA fine selection of cask ciders and winesExcellent music and delicious freshly prepared food all day"Two-in-one" festival with traditional noon start and additional evening food, drink & entertainment programme

This year the Beer Festival will return to the hugely successful cricket club venue
