Something new for 2019!
Camp Wilderness (also known under the Bushcraft brand) is famous for keeping children entertained at the Wilderness Festival in Wychwood Forest.
We are delighted to host their team who are providing a range of activities in the Children's Tent from 1pm to 5pm.
1pm: Survival Bracelet Making followed by Camouflage and Concealment. Children will make their own bracelets and use face paints as camouflage before playing games in the group.
2pm: Fire Lighting and S’mores. A workshop showing the children how to light a fire in different ways then roast some s’mores (marshmallows with chocolate in a cookie) on the fire they have built themselves.
3pm: Survival Bracelet making/Camouflage and Concealment. See 1pm.
4pm: Fire Lighting and S'mores. See 2pm.
Each activity will last between 30 – 45 minutes.
Camp Wilderness will accept children from ages 6 – 15. Any other ages are more than welcome if accompanied by an adult.
All the staff are checked and trained in safeguarding and first aid. Camp Wilderness is 'Learning Out of The Classroom' registered and care for around 40,000 children per year.
If your children love the taster session there will be a special discount available for signing up for summer camps.
And there's more! For younger children (and adventurous adults) the Charlbury School Association is providing their ever-popular, face painting fun throughout the afternoon inside the Children's Tent.
